Friends and students of Lama Zinpa want to restore his mobility with an electric wheelchair. Please help us!
Lama Zinpa is a Tibetan Buddhist teacher living in Boudhanath, Nepal. He was separated from his family as a child due to tremendous political upheaval in Tibet, and lived as a wandering beggar for 23 years. The stories he tells about this period of his life are captivating.
Following a hand-to-mouth existence, Zinpa became a Buddhist monk at the age of 28 and has since spent over 11 years practicing meditation in solitary retreat. During his most recent endeavor, however, he was forced to leave his mountain cave on a stretcher.
