During a break in the bus trip from the Blue Mountains to Canberra, Lama Ole and 50 students marvelled at the rainbow around the sun, which last over six hours. In Tibetan Buddhism such signs are not uncommon, especially after a practice as intense as the Phowa or "conscious dying" meditation, and are considered to be a sign of a lama’s activity and realisation.
